An intellectual quiz among the military personnel of the branch was held at the branch of the Military Academy of Logistics in the city of Volsk. The event took place on the eve of the International Chef Day, celebrated around the world on October 20.
The event was attended by two teams from the training battalions of the Training Center (for the training of junior specialists) from among the military personnel undergoing military service by conscription.
The jury consisted of officers, instructors and teachers of the Training Center (for training junior specialists).
The teams, under the guidance of their captains, took an active part in ten rounds of a stubborn competitive game, which included questions directly related to the professional activities of military chefs.
Carrying out such events helps to develop intellectual, creative and organizational skills in military personnel, to instill an interest in the knowledge of the chosen profession. At the end of the quiz, the servicemen took a symbolic oath of initiation into the profession of “Cook”.
According to the results of the Quiz, the 1st place was taken by the team “Druzhina”, the 2nd place was taken by the team “Povaryata”. The winners and participants of the quiz received certificates and gifts.
International Day of the Chef and Culinary Specialist is a professional holiday of specialists whose activities are inextricably linked with culinary.
On the educational and material base of the branch, teachers and military personnel have been taking an active part in festive events every year for many years.
