Concerts and lectures will be broadcasted on the sides of a three-story building.
On University Square in front of the main building of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, from 22 to 24 October, the city media festival “Your Moscow” will take place. A giant multimedia interactive cube will be installed on the esplanade, on which, in addition to video works by visual designers, concerts and lectures will be broadcast.
The cube, the height of a three-story building, will consist of four vertical LED screens that enable visitors around to see what is happening inside. The volume of sound equipment used in equipping the outer edges of the cube, and the total area of screens of more than 500 square meters will allow you to observe what is happening from a long distance.
Inside the art object there is a compact 100-meter space with an area for speakers and guests that can transform from a television studio into a concert venue. There are seven overhead screens for augmented reality experience.
During the first days of the festival, the interactive pavilion will operate in the format of an open lecture hall, and on October 24, viewers will be able to see performances by popular artists – Klava Koki, Niletto and Polina Gagarina – on the sides of the cube. The broadcast of what is happening inside the cube will be available to the guests of the square without restrictions. Also on screens with a height of 14 meters, viewers will be able to see their photographs – for this you need to register, visit the festival and take pictures in a special area.
Speakers of the lecture hall, including famous urbanists, architects and doctors, will tell you how Moscow has changed and how it continues to change. Experts will perform inside the pavilion. Lectures and discussions will be broadcast on the sides of the cube, as well as on the site and in the group “Moscow 24” in social network “In contact with”.
The educational program includes areas such as culture, urbanism, technology, media, health, education and others. For example, participants in a discussion about urbanism will try to answer the question of what Moscow might become tomorrow. Lectures on mental and physical health in a big city, biohacking and separate waste collection are also planned. Within the framework of the discussion on the topic “New Media: Industry Trends”, they will talk about how the media adapt to the constantly changing reality and how they themselves influence it.
In addition, it is planned to discuss new digital habits of citizens, trends in education and public art.
To attend sessions and discussions, a preliminary registrationWhich will open on October 19. The number of places is limited. The event will be held in compliance with epidemiological requirements.
