The project for the comprehensive improvement of the territory adjacent to the Depo and Lyublino stations of the second Moscow Central Diameter (MCD-2) was approved – a section from the Pererva platform to the Depo station with an area of 111.9 hectares. The corresponding decree was signed by CSergei Sobyanin

Depo and Lyublino MCD-2 stations are located between Pererva and Tekstilshchiki railway stations.

The project provides for the reconstruction of the Depot station platform and the construction of an additional platform for the Lyublino station. For the convenience of passengers, pedestrian crossings with concourses will be erected at both stations.

In addition, in the vicinity of Depo and Lyublino stations, two pedestrian crossings will be built across the section of the South-Eastern Expressway and the MCD-2 track.

Reconstruction of the road network is also planned. In particular, the specialists are reconstructing the section of Projected Passage No. 4108 along the MCD-2 tracks.

There are plans to organize additional pedestrian crossings and traffic lights, taxi ranks, bike paths, bike rental stations, parking lots for bicycles and cars near the Depo and Lyublino stations.

Passengers will be able to pass from the station exits to public transport stops under awnings that protect them from rain and snow.

Improvement of the territory adjacent to the Depo and Lyublino stations is a part of the project for the development of MCD-2 “Kursko-Rizhsky” (Nakhabino – Podolsk).
