Order dated October 18, 2021 No. 2924-r

The territory of the seaport Primorsk, located in the Leningrad Region, will be expanded to include new sections, which will help create the infrastructure for an important investment project – a universal transshipment complex. This order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

In the additional territory, it is planned, in particular, to place infrastructure facilities, including warehouses for temporary storage of various goods and stationary navigation equipment.

The complex itself is intended for transshipment of coal, mineral fertilizers, containers, various cargoes and agricultural products into sea vessels. Its capacity will be 35.6 million tons per year.

Construction is being carried out within the framework of the federal project “Development of seaports”, which is part of the national project “Transport part of the comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of the main infrastructure for the period up to 2024”.
