Minister of Digitalization and Economy of Austria Margarete Schramböck and Minister of Justice of Russia Konstantin Chuichenko as co-chairs will take part in the meeting of the mixed Russian-Austrian commission on trade and economic cooperation in Vienna on October 21. This was announced on Tuesday by the Austrian Ministry of Economy.

The Austrian side noted that it pays special attention to exports to Russia in view of the great potential for the Austrian economy. “The plenary session of the Austria-Russia mixed commission chaired by Federal Minister Margarete Schramböck and Russian Justice Minister Konstantin Chuichenko will be held on October 21. Representatives of leading Austrian companies will also take part in it,” the Austrian side said in a statement.

Within the framework of the event, three agreements will be signed: between Primetals Technologies Austria and Metalloinvest on the construction of a complex for the production of hot briquetted iron, a cooperation agreement between the Vienna Zoo Schönbrunn and the Moscow Zoo, minutes of the 17th meeting of the mixed intergovernmental commission.

On October 22, Vienna will host a meeting of the Russian-Austrian Business Council, which will be attended by representatives of business and regions of the two countries.
