On October 19, specialists of the Center for Special Risk Rescue Operations “Leader” disinfected more than 11 thousand square meters. meters of internal premises of the Leningradsky railway station and 6.5 thousand square meters. meters of the adjacent territory. Measures have been taken to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

Disinfection of the oldest metropolitan station complex, which opens the gates to the north-west of Russia, took about one ton of disinfectant solution. For the special treatment of the station, an aqueous solution of chlorine-oxygen compounds was used, designed to fight viruses and bacteria. This solution is effective at the time of its application – active chlorine has a destructive effect.

Specialists performed work on special processing of the main building of the station complex, aprons, office premises, entrance lobbies, storage rooms, conveyor belts for baggage inspection, escalators, staircases, as well as common areas.

Tomorrow, on October 20, the specialists of the Leader Center for Education and Research will disinfect the Belorussky railway station.

As a reminder, since April of last year all over the country, units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry have been regularly carrying out large-scale works to disinfect socially significant facilities and transport infrastructure.
