When the buildings are renovated, they will teach children about music and the visual arts.

The city donated buildings on Malaya Filevskaya Street to two creative schools. They were received by the children’s music school No. 96 and the children’s art school named after V.F. Stozharova. After the renovation, they will be able to accept more new students in the new premises.

Music School No. 96 today is located in the basement of a five-story building built in 1962. It trains 339 people. The institution was allocated a building at the address: Malaya Filevskaya street, possession 14, building 3. The area of ​​the school premises will increase 4.5 times.

Art school named after V.F. Stozharova received an additional building at the address: Malaya Filevskaya Street, 20, building 2. Today, 745 people are engaged in its main building.

Both buildings on Malaya Filevskaya Street are transferred on the basis of operational management rights.

One of the largest systems of continuing education in the world has been created in Moscow. It includes 139 art schools with about 100,000 children. They study music, choreography, visual arts and theater.

Since 2018, the city has been implementing a project to support creative education “Art for Children”: renovating the existing buildings of music and art schools, building additional buildings, purchasing modern equipment and new musical instruments.
