Yuri Perevalov, a 2nd year cadet of the Faculty of Higher Education of the branch of the All-Russian Scientific Center of the Navy in the city of Kaliningrad, won first place in the European Cup in ship modeling sport “NAVIGA-2021” in the class “F2-B”.

Sports competitions in ship modeling sport “NAVIGA-2021” in the class of radio-controlled models of the M, NS, S groups in open water were held for three days in Kaliningrad.

The competition was attended by athletes from Croatia, Italy, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Sweden, as well as Ukraine, Belarus and other neighboring countries.

After a bench assessment of competition models among radio-controlled replicas of real ships, vessels and prototypes, athletes demonstrated the driving performance of their models in the water area of ​​Lake Nizhny Kaliningrad.

Cadet Yuri Perevalov, candidate for master of sports of Russia in ship modeling, presented at the competition a smaller copy of the project 11540 patrol ship of the Baltic Fleet “Yaroslav the Wise”.

According to the results of the competition in the class “F2-B” with a score of 187 points, he won first place.

At the closing ceremony of the championship, the President of the Russian Federation of Ship Modeling Sports, a member of the world organization of ship modeling and ship modeling sports “NAVIGA” Vladimir Zhornik presented Yuri with a medal, a diploma and a certificate of a participant in the European Cup.

In addition, the Kaliningrad cadet fulfilled the standard of the master of sports of Russia in ship modeling sport.
