A tactical flight exercise with the crews of a separate helicopter squadron of the Air Force and Air Defense Association of the Central Military District (CVO), stationed in the city of Priozersk of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was completed.

As part of the exercise, the crews practiced relocation to operational airfields located on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Then, according to the assignment, they carried out the landing by the landing method of the tactical assault force on the sites unprepared for performing combat training tasks. In addition, the crews of the helicopters performed maneuvers to evade the air defense and electronic warfare of the simulated enemy, having worked out flights with rounding the terrain.

In total, 4 Mi-8 helicopters and about 50 military personnel of the flight and engineering personnel were involved in the exercise.

Aviation formations and regiments of the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Central Military District are deployed in the regions of Siberia, the Urals and the Volga region, as well as in the territory of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. It is armed with operational-tactical aircraft, modern modifications of Mi-8 transport and combat helicopters, Mi-24 attack helicopters, and transport aircraft.
