In the Primorsky Territory, an exercise was held with units of the Marine Corps of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet), during which the assault group parachuted into the rear of the mock enemy and delivered a surprise strike using mortars.

The combat training event was held at the Bamburovo training ground as part of the final check during the summer training period.

During the exercise, the combined airborne assault unit was transferred to the area of application on An-26 aircraft. More than 100 servicemen carried out the landing on D-10 parachutes in full combat gear.

After landing, the subunit made a gathering and went to the line of attack with a forced march. Having reached the “enemy” positions, the Marines launched a surprise attack from the rear, using mobile mortars, RPG-7 grenade launchers and small arms.

A surprise attack by the Marines from the rear allowed for a tactical success and the capture of the designated area during the exercise.
