Military chefs of the Central Military District held a master class on cooking non-standard dishes on their professional holiday – International Chef Day, which is celebrated on October 20.

In a short time, the chefs in uniform must cook a number of dishes: Udmurt perepechki, Buryat buuz, as well as fish cakes – Georgian women. At military bases in Central Asia, the kings of military cuisine will cook: sambus varaki, mastova, Gissar salad and goshkide. The festive menu also includes the traditional soldier’s soldier “Olivier” and cold snacks.

It is important to note that all dishes are not included in the daily diet of military personnel, but in honor of the holiday, army chefs made an exception and treat officers and soldiers with unusual dishes. Despite the fact that the cooks have prepared unusual dishes, the food set is standard – all products are included in the daily diet of military personnel. The military chefs cooked not only in stationary kitchens, but also in the field.

The International Day of the Cook is held in all formations and military units of the district with the aim of improving the organization of food supply for personnel, increasing the level of special training of food service specialists.
