“Active Citizens” will tell you what they would be interested in learning about in the museum complex.

Residents of the capital are invited to decide what visitors can do at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center at VDNKh. The Active Citizen project launched votededicated to the work of the museum complex. Its participants will have to answer three questions.

First, you need to choose the most attractive format of your visit to the center. Options include self-guided visits, a guided tour of the exposition, screenings of films and cartoons, Space Lessons with astronauts, children’s quests or concert programs.

Users can then define topics for free lectures that are held at the Cosmonautics and Aviation Center. Now they talk about what astronauts eat, how psychologists prepare them for flights, as well as about the planets that can become a new home for humanity. Muscovites are asked what else they might be interested in. Among the answer options are lectures on the history of Russian cosmonautics, its heroes, stories about spacecraft, about modern cosmonautics or cosmonautics for children.

The third question concerns young visitors. Users are offered to choose the most interesting event formats for children. These can be lectures, entertaining and educational quests, the Space Lessons project with astronauts, as well as video blogs, video or thematic excursions.

You can choose up to three answer options for each question. You can also suggest your own ideas.

And in 2019, the project participants decided which excursions should be added to the center’s program. The leader then was the quest for preschoolers.

The Active Citizen project has been operating in Moscow since 2014. In seven years, more than five million people have joined it, of which almost two million will be in 2020. Participants decide which streets, courtyards and parks need to be improved, how city clinics, libraries, multifunctional centers should work, and also choose events for festivals and celebrations. Since the start of the project, Muscovites have taken part in more than five thousand votes.

Decisions supported by a majority vote are implemented in the city. You can see what has changed in Moscow thanks to the “active citizens” on the online map… More than 1.6 thousand objects have already been applied to it. And you can evaluate the changes in the heading “Pulse of the capital”.

Since the end of last year, project participants also have the opportunity to send their accumulated points to charity. The Active Citizen project is being developed by Moscow Department of Information Technologies and the state treasury institution “New management technologies”.
