The Russian Aerospace Forces completed the transfer of the Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and artillery battery to the territory of the Russian Federation from the Republic of Serbia, where the latest air defense systems took part in the joint Russian-Serbian air defense exercise Slavic Shield-2021.

The delivery of Russian air defense units with Pantsir-S anti-aircraft missile and cannon systems was carried out by military transport aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces.

Upon arrival on Russian territory, the Pantsir-S units of the Russian Aerospace Forces made a march to their permanent deployment points and, after carrying out technical maintenance, began to carry out combat duty for air defense in the established zones of responsibility.

During the joint exercise, the issues of interaction and joint use of air defense units of the Aerospace Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as the Air Force and Air Defense of the Republic of Serbia were worked out.
