In a military hospital in Voronezh, an additional 25 beds have been deployed to provide assistance to civilian patients. This decision was made by the commander of the Western Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Zhuravlev, after a corresponding appeal from the Governor of the Voronezh Region, Alexander Gusev.

Military doctors of the Western Military District in the shortest possible time retrofitted the premises with the necessary technical and medical equipment, including artificial lung ventilation devices.

Specialists of the military medical service of the Western Military District continue to vaccinate and revaccinate military personnel and civilian specialists, as well as their family members, which excludes an increase in the number of diseases.

Military personnel and their family members who completed a full course of preventive treatment in mid-March 2021 are undergoing revaccination. Before the introduction of the vaccine, the military personnel and their families were interviewed about the impact of the domestic drug “Sputnik V” on the body. After 3 weeks and after checking the state of health, the patients were injected with the second component of the drug.

Also, for family members of military personnel, military doctors organized a procedure for issuing QR codes, which allows them to use the restriction system in a safe form to visit public places, theaters, cinemas, exhibitions, cafes and gyms.
