“Taking into account the current situation, of course, I support your proposal, dear colleagues, to declare non-working days throughout the country with the preservation of wages for workers from October 30 to November 7 inclusive. At the same time, it is clear that in each constituent entity of the Federation the epidemiological situation develops and develops in different ways, has its own dynamics and tendencies, ”said the President of Russia.
He also emphasized the need for mass testing of people, the reliable functioning of the entire health care system, supporting businesses in a difficult situation and increasing the pace of vaccination.
A steady increase in the incidence of COVID-19 has been observed in Russia for more than a month. About 35 thousand new patients are registered per day, said Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia for Social Policy. “Such high numbers today are due to the spread of infection throughout the territory of the Russian Federation. This is a feature of this rise in the incidence rate, in contrast to the previous season, and at the same time the complexity, which creates a huge burden on the health care system, ”said Tatiana Golikova.
According to her, the incidence is growing due to non-compliance with restrictive measures and insufficient rates of vaccination. So, last week, the incidence rate in the country amounted to 151.4 per 100 thousand of the population – 15.5 percent higher than a week earlier. Moscow, the Moscow region and St. Petersburg account for 19.2 percent of cases.
There are 30 offices in Moscow today rapid testing for COVID-19… They were opened in 13 centers of public services “My Documents”, in 10 shopping centers and in seven transport interchange hubs (TPU). Rapid diagnostic points work according to the schedule of institutions, and at TPU – daily from 09:00 to 21:00. They allow timely detection of cases of the disease, timely initiation of treatment and reduce the possibility of a severe course of coronavirus infection.
A positive rapid test result is not a confirmation of the disease. In this case, a swab for a PCR study is taken from a person on the spot without queues and an appointment.
