Tank crews of the Vistula Motorized Rifle Division of the Combined Arms Army of the Western Military District, stationed in the Belgorod Region, relocated to the Leningrad Region to conduct tactical exercises and pass a control check during the summer training period.

During the exercise, the tankers will have the task of confirming the honorary title “shock” by completing the tasks of blocking the “enemy” at the turn for practicing a maneuverable defense technique with the implementation of flank firing and counterstrike elements.

While holding key positions, tankers will carry out raid operations on the territory of a conditional enemy, during which it will be necessary to hit over 50 targets imitating manpower, equipment and fortified command posts.

In total, over a thousand servicemen were involved in the control check, as well as about 300 pieces of weapons and military equipment of the Vislensky motorized rifle division of the combined arms army of the Western Military District.
