During the exercise, the Marine Corps units landed on an unequipped section of the coast from large landing ships, fought for the landing, occupied and held a bridgehead, moving deep into the positions of the conditional enemy.

The coastal defense units of the Black Sea Fleet Army Corps, with attached tank and motorized rifle units of the Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District (Southern Military District), which in turn worked out the coastal defense against the advancing enemy, acted as a mock enemy for the marines.

More than 40 ships, about 200 units of military and special equipment, Mi-35, Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopters, Mi-8 AMTSh transport helicopters, as well as electronic warfare units, RChBZ and unmanned aerial vehicle calculations were involved in the exercise.

The exercise took place according to the general plan and as part of a control check of the troops (forces) of the district for the 2021 academic year under the leadership of the commander of the Southern Military District, Army General Alexander Dvornikov.

In total, about 8 thousand servicemen were involved in the command and staff exercises with the formations and formations of the Southern Military District, about 350 units of weapons and military equipment from the combined arms armies, air force and air defense formations, formations and units of the combat arms and special forces of district subordination, forces The Black Sea Fleet and the Caspian Flotilla.
