Muscovites can become participants in the Moscow Volunteer 2021 competition, the main event of the Moscow volunteer community. They offer to join not only experienced volunteers, but also those who just want to become a part of the volunteer community of the capital and know how to make it better. You can participate in the competition individually or in a team, and the updated format allows you to choose one or more nominations. This year the winners and prize-winners will be determined in eight nominations in three directions. The first – “Activity” – includes the nominations “I am a volunteer” and “Thank you”. In the “Project” direction, you can submit applications in the nominations “Organizer of Good Deeds” and “Good Idea”. And in the direction of “Team” there are four nominations: “Good team. School ”,“ A kind team. College ”,“ A kind team. University “and” A kind team. Corporate Association “.

Anyone over the age of 14 who is ready to develop the volunteer movement in the city and help others can become an individual participant in the competition. Teams must include at least three people.

Within the framework of the competition, participants will be trained in four thematic blocks, such as Basic Training, Moscow Volunteer Skills, Management of Volunteer Communities, and Social Design. Each volunteer will have the opportunity to create an individual plan for learning interesting topics.

In addition, the resource center “Mosvolonter” and the partners of the competition prepared various events and volunteer actions for the participants. For example, on October 25, the “Gifts for the Elderly” campaign starts to collect New Year’s gifts. They can be brought to the resource center at the address: Leningradsky Prospekt, Building 5, Building 1. In December, volunteers will donate collected gifts to charitable foundations that support nursing homes.

Actions aimed at helping animals will be held in November. Starting November 25, Muscovites can take care of the four-legged by taking part in a campaign to collect food for dogs and cats. It can be left in special boxes in the lobby of the resource center.

At the end of October and November, experts will conduct webinars for the participants of the Moscow Volunteer competition. It will be about how to correctly set the goal and objectives of social projects, seek and allocate resources, as well as about the features of corporate social responsibility. In addition, experts will tell you how to promote volunteer projects on social networks, reveal the secrets of presentation and public speaking. Contestants will learn about the specifics of organizing and participating in pro bono volunteering.
