As part of the control check for 2021, at the Baranovsky training ground in the Primorsky Territory, with the crews of the combat vehicles of the Ussuriysk separate guards airborne assault formation, a lesson was held on driving BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles as part of the unit.

Before performing the practical exercises, theoretical classes were held on safety requirements, the operation of the chassis and standard armament of the BMP-2, as well as in the order of servicing armored vehicles and their standard armament, after which the servicemen were allowed to practice the exercises, which consisted in the performance of the trainees standards for landing crews of combat vehicles, starting off, which takes no more than 11 seconds for 10 combat vehicles, as well as movement in a convoy.

Subsequently, the subunits worked out the procedure for deploying to airborne columns and battle formations for conducting an offensive, curtailing after completing the task and leaving for the starting point.

In addition, directly on the track of the tankodrome, the driver-mechanics practiced driving at high speeds over rough terrain as part of a unit, overcoming various obstacles, including an anti-tank ditch, a track bridge, passage through mine-explosive obstacles and others.

In the course of the lesson, the commanders of combat vehicles and driver mechanics demonstrated their high professional skills, which was noted by the command of the formation.
