Dozens of mechanized convoys of military equipment from units of the Southern Military District (YuVO) will march along public roads to permanent deployment points (PPD) from the exercise sites.

Subdivisions and military units are sent to military airfields, from where they will be transferred to the PPD by military transport aircraft. Part of the formations will make marches on their own from the areas of the exercises. Tanks and heavy armored vehicles will be delivered by rail and road trawls.

The return of military equipment to the fleets of military vehicles of military units is planned to be completed by October 30 of this year. Then, during the preparatory period, the personnel of the subdivisions will begin routine work on the transfer of weapons and equipment to the winter operation mode.

Bilateral tactical exercises were conducted as part of the final check for the 2021st academic year at 25 combined-arms training grounds located in the Astrakhan, Volgograd and Rostov regions, in the Kuban and Stavropol regions, in the republics of the North Caucasus, in Crimea, as well as at Russian military bases in Abkhazia , Armenia and South Ossetia.

More than 8 thousand servicemen from the three combined-arms armies, the forces of the Black Sea Fleet and the Caspian Flotilla, the Air Force and Air Defense Forces, formations and units of direct subordination were involved in practical actions in the field.

Combat ships, boats and support vessels of the Black Sea Fleet and the Caspian Flotilla, after completing tasks at sea ranges, will return to naval bases deployed in the Krasnodar Territory, Astrakhan Region, Dagestan and Crimea.

In total, 45 training grounds and sections of terrain on the territory of four states (Russia, Abkhazia, Armenia, South Ossetia) – 25 combined-arms, 3 aviation and 17 marine training grounds in the waters of the Black and Caspian Seas – were involved in the practical actions of the troops.
