In the final part of the competition, which was held in the Moscow region on the basis of the 100th separate support regiment in Alabin, 11 best foremen from all over Russia took part. These are the winners of the qualifying rounds in the services (arms) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, in the military districts and in the Northern Fleet.

In the struggle for the right to bear the title of the best foreman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, they demonstrated their best qualities, both in theoretical matters and in performing practical tasks.

At the closing ceremony of the competition, Lieutenant General Vladimir Trishunkin, Chief of the Logistics Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, congratulated the winners and awardees.

“The best of the best specialists in their profession were selected for the final stage of our competition. Therefore, I consider it important that in addition to participating in competitions, you got the opportunity to exchange experience, gain useful knowledge and skills for their practical implementation in further service. The competition, thanks to its high organization, confidently demonstrated a worthy level of skill of all the participants, your readiness and desire for further professional growth, ”said Lieutenant General Vladimir Trishunkin.

According to the results of the two-day competition, the first place was taken by the representative of the Western Military District – Warrant Officer Evgeny Demidov. Second place went to Senior Warrant Officer Vladislav Blagodir from the 12th Main Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The top three winners were closed by Senior Warrant Officer Ruslan Gilitchuk, who represented the Strategic Missile Forces.

The competition is held on the initiative of the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Hero of Russia, General of the Army Dmitry Bulgakov. The main objectives of the competition are to increase the level of training of the foremen of units, test their knowledge and practical skills in running company management, check the state of internal order, the condition and safety of weapons, military, special equipment and other military property in units, their compliance with the requirements of the governing documents of the Ministry of Defense Russian Federation.

The main tasks of the competition are to increase the interest of the foremen of the divisions in improving their professional skills, the efficiency of official activity, determining the best foreman of the division, as well as increasing the prestige of military service.

Lieutenant General Vladimir Trishunkin also noted that the competition was held at a time when the tension of the epidemic situation in the country and the world was not weakening. Therefore, in this struggle for the health of personnel, there are no more reliable assistants for commanders than unit foremen. The quality of implementation and the health of servicemen depend on how the internal order and compliance with anti-epidemiological measures in the units will be maintained.

The competition “The best petty officer of a unit of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation” has confirmed its necessity and has become a tradition, held on an annual basis. Since the moment of its holding, the staffing level with the posts of the category “petty officer” in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation has reached almost 100 percent, more than 25 percent of the military personnel have a higher education.
