The formations and military units of the Eastern Military District, stationed in the Republic of Buryatia, celebrated the World Day of the Cook. The servicemen tasted traditional Russian cuisine.

In the combined-arms formation, conferences were held on the organization of meals in formations and military units, master classes on cooking were held for military chefs, and guidance documents were brought to the heads of food services of military units of the Air Defense Forces.

More than 100 officers and junior specialists of the logistics departments of the Eastern Military District took part in the activities of the Day of the Cook.

In the canteen of the tank formation of the Air Defense Forces, the units that arrived for lunch were met by girls in national costumes, who gave recommendations on the festive menu. Along with the usual dishes, the military could try potatoes baked in a village style with beef, homemade dumplings, homemade pickles, pancakes, pancakes, pastries and much more.

In addition, vegetables and fruits included in the daily diet were presented. All meals were beautifully presented.
