Two thousand people from 14 to 65 years old took part in the qualifying round. They competed in 81 professional competencies.
Organizers of the Moscow Championship Abilympix-2021 summed up the results of the qualifying round. 1003 participants who passed the competitive tests best of all will perform in the finals.

More than two thousand Muscovites aged 14 to 65 took part in the qualifying round. This year they are competing in 81 professional competencies. For two weeks, the participants passed qualifying tests in their areas. Some developed websites and engineering solutions, others cooked restaurant-grade dishes, others taught adaptive physical education, and others made jewelry, repaired shoes, plumbing and cars.
All contestants were divided into three age categories: schoolchildren, students and specialists. More than half of the applications came from schoolchildren – for them it is a way of career guidance, which shows opportunities for future implementation. With the help of the championship, students can test their knowledge in practice and take the first steps in the profession. And for experienced professionals, this is an opportunity to show skill and get an invitation to work.
During the qualifying tests, the skills of the contestants were assessed by more than 400 experts and employers. In the final, even more business representatives will join the jury team. They will observe the progress of the competition, and the most talented participants will be invited to internships and work in their companies.
Abilympics is an international movement that organizes such contests for people with disabilities.
