Inspectors of the 127th Military Automobile Inspectorate (VAI) of the Southern Military District (YuVO), together with the traffic police of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the city of Sochi, conducted safety lessons with the students of the special boarding school No. 2 in Sochi.

Employees of VAI YuVO told the children about the most common causes of road accidents, the importance of using reflective elements. Young road users were shown the traffic controller’s gestures and told about the main assistants on the road – traffic lights and road signs. The children took part in the conversations with interest and asked questions.

An important episode was the discussion of a safe route from home to school, which must be thought out by every student and adhered to every school day in order to avoid an emergency situation on the roads.

The children were also shown a patrol car and a motorcycle, told about their structure and purpose. The staff of the VAI showed the children how special sound and light devices, which are equipped with service vehicles, work. The most curious were able to sit in the salon of an official car and imagine themselves in the role of a traffic police inspector.

VAI YuVO reminds adult road users that strict observance of the Traffic Rules and safety measures and personal example will help teach children and keep their lives and health.
