The territories will be reorganized into city parking lots, children’s and sports grounds, as well as green areas.

More than 300 vacant land plots will be landscaped in Moscow – they will be reorganized into city parking lots, children’s and sports grounds, as well as green zones. Empty territories since July 2021 revealed State Inspection for Control over the Use of Real Estate Objects of the City of Moscow.

The first such site has already been put in order: free parking for Muscovites has been organized on it. This was told by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.

“One of the priorities of the Moscow Government’s work in the land and property sphere is monitoring and identifying unused, unregistered, empty land plots in Moscow. To date, employees of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate have identified more than 300 vacant territories that will be considered for improvement. So, in Golyanovo, an open free parking lot for residents of the district has already been equipped, ”added Vladimir Efimov.

All sites are considered by the city commission, which includes representatives of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate, the Department of City Property, the Moscow Committee for Architecture, prefectures of districts and other relevant departments.

Earlier, in the east of the capital, at Altayskaya Street, possession 19, the State Inspectorate for Real Estate revealed an ownerless land plot with a total area of 1266 square meters.

“The territory was not burdened with land and property relations and has not been used for a long time. At the initiative of the control department, the site was considered at a meeting of the commission. Today it is involved in economic turnover: there is a free parking for 28 spaces, five of which are intended for people with limited mobility, ”said the head of the State Inspectorate for Real Estate Vladislav Ovchinsky.

In the course of the work, the site was leveled, asphalted, special markings were applied to it and a convenient access to it was organized from the side of the road.
