More than 7 thousand servicemen and civilian personnel of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) have undergone revaccination against the new coronavirus infection.

Vaccine prophylaxis is carried out in the formations and military units of the Black Sea Fleet with the domestic drug “Gam-COVID-Vak” (“Sputnik V”) on a voluntary basis and after signing an agreement for the introduction of the components of the drug.

Before carrying out the procedure, medical specialists inform patients about the effect of the components of the “Sputnik V” preparation on the human body, check the general condition and well-being. After the administration of the drug for half an hour, all persons are under the supervision of doctors.

In addition, mobile vaccination teams work in the Black Sea Fleet, which carry out vaccinations and revaccinations at the points of permanent deployment of military units, on ships and combined-arms training grounds.

Military personnel and civilian personnel of military units who have received a full course of vaccination before April 1, 2021, are involved in the re-vaccination.
