In the Military Innovation Technopolis “ERA” the III scientific and technical conference “State and prospects of development of modern science in the direction of” Energy. Technologies, Apparatus and Life Support Machines “.

The conference was opened by the deputy head of the technopolis for scientific and educational activities, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Colonel Andrey Morozov. He greeted the participants of the event and noted that the conference on this topic is being held in the innovation city for the third time. According to him, this indicates the relevance of the messages proposed for consideration, the uniqueness of the projects presented.

The event was held through video communication, reports were heard in three thematic sections. Eighteen speakers presented their scientific works for discussion – they are heads and representatives of military command and control bodies, research and educational organizations, enterprises of the military-industrial complex and leading higher educational institutions of Russia.

The state and prospects for the development of sources and systems of energy distribution, life support systems for facilities of the Ministry of Defense of Russia were discussed at the first section, headed by a representative of the Military Institute (engineering and technical) of the Military Academy of Logistics named after General of the Army A.V. Khrulev, Candidate of Technical Sciences Pavel Putilin. In his speech, he also noted the problematic issues arising from the implementation of modern solutions in the field of life support systems and technologies for military infrastructure facilities.

The meeting participants analyzed the efficiency and outlined further plans for the use of distribution generation sources for power supply to remote consumers, energy storage technologies for life support systems of the Russian Ministry of Defense, energy-efficient heat storage materials for military infrastructure facilities.

The second section deals with issues related to the state and prospects for the development of the chemotology of fuels, oils, lubricants and special fluids. The report of the Head of the Department (Chemotology) of the 25th State Research Institute of Chemotology of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Technical Sciences Dmitry Manshev, was highly appreciated. In his speech, he specified the goals and priority tasks of import substitution in the production of fuels and lubricants for weapons and military equipment. For example, an emphasis is placed on reducing the dependence of domestic manufacturers on imported technologies and possible tools for achieving the delivered installation are considered.

In the third part of the conference, a strategy for the development and use of composite materials for individual protection elements and protection components for weapons, military and special equipment is outlined. Considered are modern materials for the protection of the latest samples of military equipment, electroconductive composites based on chloroprene rubber modified with iodized carbon nanotubes “Taunit-M”, as well as polymer composites containing iodine-modified derivatives based on graphene oxide.

Thus, the conference participants exchanged information on new scientific and technical projects, discussed options for finding partners for the development of promising energy technologies, devices and machines for life support systems in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
