An updated fountain, an open-air cinema, a rose garden, a playground, a skate park and a trolley track will compete for the victory.

Project participants “Active Citizen” will vote for the most interesting seasonal noveltyin city parks.

This year, Sokolniki has renovated a large rose garden with rare varieties of flowers, walking paths, gazebos, benches and pergolas. A new point of attraction in the park is Fountain Square with a round multi-level podium, which is suitable both for relaxing by the water and for working in the fresh air.

In the park of the Olympic Village, a trolley track with a length of more than 400 meters, stretching over the ponds, awaits visitors. Anyone can “fly” directly over the water and admire the views of the city from above.

Fans of extreme sports will appreciate the new skate park in the park near Dzhamgarovsky pond. They equipped ramps, rails and other figures to perform tricks. You can ride not only skateboards, but also BMX bikes, scooters and roller skates.

After major repairs, a summer cinema has been opened in the Angarskiye Prudy Park, where you can hold film screenings, arrange creative meetings and master classes. And for children in the park on Olonetsky proezd there is a modern playground. In addition to the usual swing and sandbox, there is an interactive center with exercises for agility and reaction speed.

In the new voting, the participants of the “Active Citizen” project can choose one of the presented options, propose their own or choose the option “Difficult to answer.”

The Active Citizen project appeared in 2014. During this time, more than five million people have joined it, of which almost two million – in 2020. Participants decide which streets, courtyards and parks need to be landscaped, how city polyclinics, libraries, multifunctional centers should work, and choose events for festivals and celebrations. Since the start of the project, Muscovites have taken part in more than five thousand votes. Since the end of last year, participants also have the opportunity to send their accumulated points to charity.
