Order of October 26, 2021 No. 3024-r

Order of October 26, 2021 No. 3024-r

Over 47.1 billion rubles will be additionally allocated to the Social Insurance Fund (FSS) to pay benefits for temporary disability in the IV quarter of 2021. The order was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

Due to the spread of coronavirus and the growth of seasonal diseases, the burden on the fund’s budget has increased significantly. In order to maintain its balance and prevent delays in payments for citizens, it was decided to allocate additional funding.

“It is important that in this situation people can quickly and without delay get sick leave and receive the payments they are entitled to,” Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting on October 22.

The head of the Cabinet instructed the Ministry of Finance to ensure the prompt implementation of this order and transfer the necessary funds to the Social Insurance Fund as soon as possible.

Recall that in 2021, the procedure for paying sick leave and paying maternity benefits was changed. Now they are transferred to citizens directly from the FSS, and not through the employer. From next year, sick leave certificates will be issued only in electronic form, and benefits for them will be calculated automatically.
