Over 1.2 thousand cadets of the district training center for the training of junior specialists of motorized rifle and tank forces of the Eastern Military District in the Trans-Baikal Territory began live firing from the armament of T-72B tanks and BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles as part of the final exams. Control activities are carried out at the Peschanka and Krasny Yar test sites.

In the course of the practical part of the training, servicemen perform control firing exercises, both from the spot and on the move at targets imitating military equipment and manpower of a conventional enemy. In addition, firing is carried out from additional weapons of combat vehicles, in particular from a coaxial Kalashnikov machine gun. At the same time, graduate cadets demonstrate skills and abilities in a constant change of environment, which requires an instant response from servicemen when firing.

In addition, the knowledge and practical skills of cadets are assessed by a special commission in fulfilling the standards for tactical training, including loading ammunition, assembling and disassembling weapons, etc.

Also, the final test program includes the implementation of temporary standards for special subjects of study, such as medical training, engineering support and radiation, chemical and biological protection.

After passing the final exams, trained specialists of motorized rifle and tank forces will be sent to military units of the Eastern Military District for further service in regular positions as a driver mechanic and gunner-operator of an infantry fighting vehicle and a tank.
