The experts took into account the average cost of living and rental housing, Internet speed and the number of universities included in international rankings.
Moscow entered the top 100 cities in the world for students. Rating was compiled by the British consulting company Studee.
The study took into account the average cost of living and rental housing, Internet speed and the number of universities included in international rankings. The experts also assessed the number of young people aged 15 to 24, the quality and availability of food, the standard of living, safety and freedom of speech.
“We believe that every student should have the opportunity to study abroad, and we understand how difficult it is for international students to find accommodation that suits their needs,” said Gina Gavilanes, CEO of Studee.
In addition to Moscow (84th place), there are three more Russian cities in the ranking: St. Petersburg (98th place), Novosibirsk (99th position) and Tomsk (rounds out the hundred).
The top five of the list included Tokyo, Melbourne, Seoul, Quebec and Adelaide. Dublin is recognized as the best student city in Europe, occupying the 13th line in the list.
