Experts assessed investment attractiveness, information openness, business performance and other indicators.

Technopark TechnoSpark took first place in the VII National rating of Russian technoparks, prepared by the Association of clusters, technoparks and special economic zones (SEZ) of Russia. When determining the leader, experts analyzed 21 indicators related to the innovative activity and economic activity of residents, the efficiency of his management company. Investment attractiveness, informational openness of the technopark and its contribution to sustainable development were also important.

TechnoSpark has become a leader among all similar organizations in Russia in all respects. Another metropolitan technopark “Kalibr” was marked in the category of information openness and contribution to sustainable development. Technopark TechnoSpark was established in 2012. Now 95 companies operate on its territory, which have created 454 jobs.

The leading position of TechnoSpark in the rating of the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and SEZ of Russia is the recognition of the effectiveness of the proactive model of work. TechnoSpark serially creates and produces technology startups. This model of work seven years ago became known as a startup studio.

The main areas of activity of the technopark residents, which form new points of growth of the city, create new high-tech jobs, are robotics, photovoltaics (a field of science at the intersection of physics, photochemistry and electrochemistry, specializing in the generation of electric current in various materials), flexible electronics, genetics and biotechnology …

In 2020, the technopark managed to adapt to the new working conditions against the backdrop of the coronavirus threat. Technopark not only did not reduce efficiency, but also found new opportunities for growth.

In addition to TechnoSpark, the rating includes the capital’s technoparks Kalibr, Elma, Slava, Polyus, Moscow, Nagatino and Mosgormash.

In total in the VII National rating of technoparks of Russia Associations of clusters, technoparks and special economic zones of Russia included 40 technoparks. The expert council, which determined the winners, includes representatives of the State Duma of Russia, as well as various ministries and departments.

Today, there are 39 technoparks operating in the capital, as well as six investment priority projects of the city of Moscow for the creation of a technopark. In total, more than 2,090 technology companies are located there, employing over 68 thousand people.
