On October 29, the section of the Big Circle Line (BCL) of the metro from the Khoroshevskaya station to Mnevnikov will be closed. Trains will run only between Savelovskaya and Delovoy Tsentr stations. Passenger access will be limited until October 31.

At this time, specialists will connect new BCL stations to the existing metro network. They will connect the train traffic automation and telemechanics systems, check the efficiency and reliability of engineering systems.

In the near future, they plan to open a large section of the BCL – 10 stations at once, which are located in the western, southwestern and southern sections of the ring. Thus, passengers will be received by the stations Terekhovo, Kuntsevskaya, Davydkovo, Aminevskaya, Michurinsky Prospect, Vernadsky Prospect, Novatorskaya, Vorontsovskaya, Zyuzino, Kakhovskaya. The length of the section is about 20 kilometers. The launch of the traffic will improve the accessibility of transport for residents of 11 districts, or 1.4 million people.

The Big Circle Line is the world’s largest metro construction project. The BCL will be 70 kilometers long and will house 31 stations and three electric depots.
