The Black Sea Fleet began to transfer liquid oxygen to medical institutions in Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea, treating patients from the consequences of coronavirus infection.

In accordance with the appeals of the heads of these constituent entities of the Russian Federation to the command of the Southern Military District, the first batch of oxygen, about 10 tons, was sent to medical institutions in the region from the storage facilities of military airfields located in the region.

Unified high-pressure gas charging stations UGZS-M-K are used to unload oxygen, which are designed to charge the onboard systems of aircraft with oxygen.

In the future, regular oxygen supplies will be established to medical institutions in Crimea and Sevastopol in volumes comparable to the capabilities of the airfield equipment designed to generate liquid oxygen.
