All work will be carried out under the supervision of specialists from the Moscow City Heritage Agency, ”he said.
They also plan to put the bell tower in order, recreate the iconostasis complex in the upper church, restore the brickwork and plastering in the interiors. The initial contract price is about 640 million rubles. The Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul is one of the few examples of the Peter the Great Baroque, an architectural monument. It began to be built in 1704 and finished in 1723. According to legend, the drawings were drawn up personally by Peter I.
