Employees of the military traffic inspectorate (VAI) of the Southern Military District (YuVO) ensure the safe delivery of recruits from assembly points to places of service in the Volgograd region.

The VAI forces are involved in the movement of convoys from assembly points to places of loading on railway and air transport, as well as from arrival stations to points of deployment of military units and formations.

In addition, with the bus drivers involved in the transportation of conscripts, the inspectors of the VAI conducted preliminary briefings, carried out technical inspections of the transport, checked the correctness of the brake and propulsion systems.

Also, explanatory conversations were held with the recruits themselves, where employees reminded of the need to comply with road safety rules. In addition to communicating with the young recruits, military traffic inspectors focused on those who will be appointed to the positions of military drivers, recalling the need to remain vigilant when driving on the road. They wished the future defenders of the Fatherland successful service.

During the fall of 2021, more than 26 thousand young people will be sent to the troops from the regions of the Southern and North Caucasian federal districts. The conscription in the area of responsibility of the Southern Military District was organized by the forces of 377 conscription companies on the territory of 15 constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
