At the Adanak training ground in Dagestan, snipers of the Caspian Flotilla (CFL) eliminated the sabotage reconnaissance groups of the mock enemy.

Sniper pairs moved to the place of the combat training mission, prepared a firing position and performed camouflage using improvised and special means.

The servicemen moved in mountainous and open areas, as well as in areas with a minimum number of natural shelters.

In addition, snipers have worked out various methods of conducting reconnaissance and navigating unfamiliar terrain, as well as firing from awkward positions, retreating from a position when detected by a conventional enemy.

At the final stage of the exercise, snipers performed firing practice exercises with a Dragunov sniper rifle (SVD) and SVD-S at distances from 500 to 1500 mv. According to the terms of the fire mission, the target was at a distance of about 800 m from the sniper position. After its destruction, the servicemen quickly changed the firing line, remaining invisible to the imaginary enemy.

When performing the tasks, camouflage suits were used, which ensure stealth and convenience in working in mountain conditions. When practicing training tasks, snipers used the experience of counterterrorism operations gained in the course of modern armed conflicts.

The exercise took place as part of the final audit for 2021.
