Comprehensive training in detecting and suppressing communication and control systems of a simulated enemy was conducted by the electronic warfare units of the Eastern Military District, stationed in the Republic of Buryatia.
During the training, the servicemen had to perform a number of special tasks on the direction finding of radio-electronic radiation sources and interfering with the communication and control systems of the imaginary enemy.
In addition, within the framework of practical exercises, the personnel worked out a number of tasks for the deployment of electronic warfare systems and the operational change of positions with field complexes and a number of special measures to counter the means of detecting a conditional enemy.
About 80 servicemen and up to 20 units of special equipment were involved in the training.
