In accordance with the requests of the heads of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, in connection with the situation in the regions of the Russian Federation with regard to the incidence of new coronavirus infection, the Strategic Missile Forces have taken measures to assist regional medical institutions in the production of liquid medical oxygen. This process is carried out using the transportable nitric-oxygen station STAD-100, developed and supplied to the Strategic Missile Forces as part of the fulfillment of the State Defense Order.

Station STAD-100 extracts oxygen and nitrogen from atmospheric air. State and interdepartmental tests carried out have shown that this unit produces medical oxygen with a volume fraction of 99.8%, which is currently very important due to the known epidemic situation in the world.

For the first time, prototypes of the STAD-100 station were presented at the Army-2017 International Military-Technical Forum in the Patriot military-patriotic park. And in August 2021, at the Army-2021 forum, serial units were presented, which were tested and delivered to PBCH connections. The capacity of one station for the production of liquid oxygen is 2200 kg per day.

The servicemen of the Uzhur compound of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Pibanshur arsenal of the Strategic Missile Forces of the Udmurt Republic have already mastered the skills of working with the stations, made it possible to issue the first kilograms of high-quality oxygen to regional hospitals in need.

Currently, more than 2 tons of high-quality liquid oxygen have been supplied to medical institutions of the Udmurt Republic.

In the military units of the Strategic Missile Forces, they began to form reserves of liquid medical oxygen in order to provide massive assistance to medical institutions of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation.

Measures are being taken to commission the stations in the Yasnensky connection of the Orenburg region and the Tatishchevsky connection of the Saratov region. This will provide regional medical institutions with high-quality liquid oxygen up to 9 tons per day.
