The smoldering peat bog in the south of Yekaterinburg made the life of the townspeople much more difficult. Specialists from the Noginsk Rescue Center of the EMERCOM of Russia with the Shkval complex came to the aid of the residents of the capital of the Middle Urals and the group involved in extinguishing peat.

During its operation, since October 18, the complex has supplied more than 140 million liters of water from a natural reservoir to the centers of peat smoldering. Thanks to the round-the-clock work of the complex and the specialists of the Noginsk rescue center of the EMERCOM of Russia, smoldering was dealt with in the shortest possible time for such a fire. After the completion of the peat extinguishing work, the complex remained in place to prevent repeated fires and their prompt extinguishing.

Representatives of the administration of the Sverdlovsk region and the city of Yekaterinburg thanked the combat crew of the Shkval complex for their selfless work. The rescuers were presented with letters of thanks and gifts.

Now, when the peat bog no longer poses a threat to residents, the Shkval complex with specialists returns to the point of permanent deployment, Noginsk, in order to be ready to come to the aid of citizens anywhere in our country.
