All work is planned to be completed by the end of 2022.

Specialists of the municipal economy complex are carrying out large-scale works on the improvement of territories near 45 metropolitan polyclinics, in which major repairs are being completed or in progress.

“Not only the buildings of medical institutions themselves, which are being renovated within the framework of the new Moscow standard for polyclinics, are getting a new look, but also the territories adjacent to them. As part of the work being carried out, we are removing all overhead wires underground, equipping comfortable sidewalks, separating them from the roadway, making recreation areas where there is an opportunity – playgrounds, “said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow in the Moscow Government for housing and communal services and improvement

Peter Biryukov

The spaces near the clinics are being adapted to the needs of people with limited mobility. There will be parking facilities in the surrounding areas and, where possible, sheds in the form of pergolas for bicycles and strollers. Several hundred lamps with energy efficient lamps will also be installed there.

The head of the municipal economy complex noted that the territories of medical institutions will be additionally landscaped, all plants will be hypoallergenic.

“In total, it is planned to plant more than 600 trees, 6.8 thousand shrubs near polyclinics, equip almost 100 thousand square meters of lawn and over 10 thousand square meters of flower beds,” said Pyotr Biryukov.

Landscaping works near seven polyclinics are planned to be completed this year, and the rest in 2022.
