The disembarkation was done at night so as not to interfere with motorists.

87 trees and more than 40 bushes were planted on the odd side of the section of Balaklavsky Avenue from Sevastopolsky Avenue to Kerchenskaya Street. This was done late in the evening and at night in order to bring less inconvenience to motorists, said in a complex of municipal services.

Balaklavsky Prospekt is a highway with heavy traffic. For landscaping such areas, specialists choose trees and shrubs with a dense crown, which quickly adapt to the conditions of a metropolis, are resistant to wind and frost. They decided to decorate the avenue with lime trees 20 years old and about seven meters high, as well as with lilacs of various varieties.

Trees and shrubs for planting in the capital are grown in special nurseries. They are replanted every three to four years to form a stable root system.

Lindens and lilac bushes were planted in planting pits with fertile soil, at the bottom of which a drainage layer was laid. Then the trunks were covered with a reed sheath to protect them from mechanical damage.

In total this fall on the streets of the capital and along the outbound highways will drop off more than 16 thousand plants. Lindens, rowan trees, maples and lilacs will decorate Altufevskoe highway, Milashenkova street, Lomonosovsky, Michurinsky, Balaklavsky and Leningradsky avenues, Leningradskoe highway, Bolshaya Cherkizovskaya street and the territory near TPU Lefortovo. Greening of urban spaces is necessary not only for external improvement. Trees and shrubs purify the air, protect from street noise and road dust, and provide shade on hot days.
