Russian servicemen of the 201st military base in Tajikistan put in order more than 100 burial places of the Great Patriotic War veterans buried in the Orthodox cemetery in Dushanbe.

During the subbotnik, the servicemen found the graves of Soviet soldiers and officers who took part in the fight against the Nazi invaders. Within a few hours, people cleared the graves of grass and wild vegetation, removed debris, pruned and hilled bushes. The assistant to the commander of the military base for work with believing servicemen served as a memorial litiya for those who fell on the battlefield during the war.

The event was also attended by representatives of the Russian Embassy, ​​students of the Russian-Tajik Slavic University, veterans of the motorized rifle unit, representatives of the border cooperation group of the Federal Security Service of Russia.
