The NPO Lab program helps non-profit organizations to obtain free professional knowledge in financial, legal, fundraising and other areas.

The network of coworking centers conducts an educational program “NPO Lab” for non-profit organizations. In the classroom, employees of non-profit organizations (NPOs) deal with complex legal issues, learn how to talk about themselves on social networks and the media, and can also learn how to improve the efficiency of their activities, maintain accounting and tax reporting. Since the beginning of the year, more than 6,000 employees of NPOs have been trained at the NPO Lab.

“We provide classes on the hottest topics for non-profit organizations. Legal, financial and legal topics are always in demand among NGOs. Nowadays, classes devoted to digitalization of the activities of NGOs, working with social networks and fundraising are especially popular among students. Thanks to the introduction of the online format, the number of NPO Lab members has grown. Since the beginning of this year, more than 6,000 employees of non-profit organizations have completed their training, ”said Pavel Simakov, head of the network of coworking centers of the non-profit organization.

Participants can choose the most suitable training format for them: refresher courses with the issuance of a certificate of the established sample, a three-month online course, whose listeners receive certificates, or individual seminars, webinars and master classes on a variety of topics. All classes within the framework of the NCO Lab program are free.

Each month is dedicated to its own topic. For example, in November, experts introduce students to social entrepreneurship – a way of additional funding for a non-profit organization. They tell how to find an idea that will bring both social effect and profit, where to find resources, how to build a business model. With the help of a social project, NGOs can expand their audience, draw attention to the problem, and find like-minded partners. A detailed schedule of classes can be found on the portal “Soulful Moscow”.

Earlier, for NPO employees, they also completed advanced training courses in accounting, financial management, as well as personnel and volunteer management in NPOs. More than 120 people received certificates of advanced training.

In September, a network of NGO coworking centers held a single consultation day for non-profit organizations. Experts in legal, financial and legal issues, as well as in the field of fundraising, crowdfunding and other areas provided professional assistance to representatives of NGOs. In total, about 80 consultations were held for employees of charitable foundations and non-profit organizations, more than 130 people took part in them.

Next year, NPO Lab will start working on professional development programs in accounting and taxation for professionals, as well as a course on the legal aspects of NPO activities.

NPO Lab is a comprehensive program for the development of professional and personal competencies of employees and managers of non-profit organizations. The organizer of the program is a network of coworking centers of non-profit organizations of the capitalPublic Relations and Youth Policy Committee.
