In the west of the capital, under the renovation program, residents of seven houses received new apartments, another 52 houses are in the process of resettlement, 15 houses have been dismantled using smart demolition technology. This was announced by the head Department of Urban Development Policy of Moscow Sergey Levkin.

“The program is being implemented in seven districts of ZAO: Mozhaisky, Prospekt Vernadsky, Filyakh-Davydkov, Kuntsevo, Solntsevo, Filevsky Park and Ochakovo-Matveyevsky. Here, 20 modern new buildings with turnkey apartments were built and handed over for the relocation of the program participants, ”said the head of the department.

He also noted that a total of 2.5 thousand families (about 6.3 thousand people) have already celebrated housewarming in the district, and 2.7 thousand more Muscovites are currently moving.

There are 30 houses at the design and construction stage.

“At the first stage of the program until the end of 2024, according to the resettlement schedule approved by the Moscow Mayor, another 25.5 thousand people living in 132 old houses are planned to move in the Western District,” said Sergei Levkin.

A total of 559 houses are included in the renovation program at the CJSC, in which 105 thousand residents live. For wave relocation, 54 launch sites were selected, where more than a million square meters of housing can be built.

The renovation program was approved in August 2017. It concerns about a million Muscovites. For its implementation, 533 launch sites were selected.
