Later, the commander of the Airborne Forces noted that the ended academic year for the Airborne Forces was not simple, dynamic and intense.

In addition, the commander of the troops stressed that in 2021, the personnel of the formations, military units and institutions of the Airborne Forces performed more than 184 thousand parachute jumps, prepared and dropped over 320 units of weapons, military and special equipment and cargo.
Within the framework of international military cooperation, seven joint exercises were held, the main of which were “Slavic Brotherhood – 2021” in the territory of the Russian Federation, “Interaction – 2021” in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan and “Defenders of Friendship – 2021” in the territory of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
One of the main events of the ended academic year was the grand opening of the new complex of buildings of the Omsk military cadet corps, which was inspected by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, in October, where they were given a high assessment of the educational and material base and infrastructure of the corps.
In addition, in the 2021 academic year, the formation of the third airborne assault regiment of the Pskov Guards Airborne Assault Formation was completed; by the beginning of December of this year, the reorganization of the Kamyshinsky Separate Guards Airborne Assault Formation into the Airborne Assault Regiment, which will become part of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Formation, will be completed. assault mountain formation, and by the end of December this year, the formation of UAV units in the formations and airborne (assault) regiments will be completed, and the reorganization of radio monitoring platoons into electronic warfare companies of divisions and radio direction finding platoons of the Airborne Forces brigades will also be completed.
Then the deputy commanders of the troops spoke in their areas of activity, where they summed up the results, identifying the best formations and military units.
At the end of the Military Council, the Commander of the Airborne Forces brought up the tasks facing the Airborne Forces in the 2022 academic year, as well as the ways and means of solving them.
