The military school of cooks of the Western Military District (ZVO), stationed in the Moscow Region, has begun final examinations for military food service specialists.

Control tests for future military chefs and bakers at the end of the training course consist of a theoretical and practical part, as well as passing standards and exercises in the main subjects of training in accordance with the training course.

During the practical part of the exam, cadets, under the supervision of experienced mentors, will prepare full-fledged meals according to the norms of the allowance of military personnel with the preparation of first and second courses, salads, etc. Separately, the cadets will carry out practical baking of bread at a field bakery. Work is carried out both in the field and in stationary conditions.

At the end, all prepared dishes will be evaluated by members of a special commission with assessment points for the main and additional indicators.

In total, over 250 food service specialists will be graduated from the military school of cooks of the Western Military District for further service in the Armed Forces and the National Guard.
