Alexander Novak got acquainted with the production of modern electrical equipment at the Moscow enterprise of the ERSO holding company

Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak visited the production facilities of the ERSO Moscow Electric Plant.

During the visit, the Deputy Prime Minister examined the company’s laboratories, leading the development of the latest high-tech equipment, including transformers, digital substations, relay protection and automation. Alexander Novak discussed with the holding’s management current macroeconomic trends and their impact on the energy sector, decarbonization of the economy and the digitalization process, as well as the modernization of the Russian power engineering industry and its prospects in world markets. In addition, when visiting the enterprise, the Deputy Prime Minister got acquainted with the capabilities and plans of the holding for the development of transmission systems, energy storage and technologies for the production of new energy sources on the basis of the Center for Hydrogen Technologies of the ERSO holding.

Also, the Deputy Prime Minister had a meeting with students of the Moscow State Technical University. NE Bauman, NUST MISIS and MPEI, participating in the design and engineering activities of the holding.
