Libraries and cultural centers of Moscow will host the action “One open day”. Visitors will be able to take part in master classes, listen to lectures, go to performances and choose a new hobby.

On November 20, from 10:00 to 20:00 in the city cultural institutions, the action “Single open day” will be held. It will be held by 163 libraries and 82 cultural centers. Muscovites are invited to learn about new books, attend concerts and lectures, and watch performances. All events are held free of charge in compliance with current sanitary measures. “The program was prepared by 245 libraries and cultural centers. Muscovites will be able to attend special events in each district. Draw a web comic and design a robot

You can admire the magnificent old interiors during a tour of the main building of the House of Culture “Gaidarovets” (Zemlyanoy Val street, house 27, building 3). It is located in the Tolstoy-Borisovsky estate, which was built in 1773 by order of Colonel Vasily Tolstoy. The mansion building has the status of a federal cultural heritage site. According to one of the legends, in the fall of 1812, Emperor Napoleon I Bonaparte watched the fire in Moscow from the balcony of this estate. The house is also known for the fact that the mother of the poet Fyodor Tyutchev grew up in it and that the rich breeder Nikanor Borisovsky, nicknamed the sugar king, lived there. They will learn the history of the book’s creation, how its heroes appeared and what inspired the author. After the meeting, the writer will talk to the guests and answer their questions.
