As part of a working trip to the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Formation, the Commander of the Airborne Forces, Hero of Russia, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov, inspected the construction progress of the infrastructure facilities of the new airborne assault regiment being formed, with a permanent deployment point in the city of Feodosia (Republic of Crimea ), which will become part of the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Assault Mountain Formation.

While working at the construction site, Colonel-General Andrei Serdyukov met with representatives of contractors involved in the construction of military camp facilities, and also examined and assessed their readiness to receive regiment personnel.

According to the developers, work at the construction sites is carried out without interruption, which will allow by the end of this year to complete the construction of the first stage facilities, which include the regiment’s headquarters, two soldiers’ dormitories (for 300 people each), a canteen for 750 seats, 1500 meals, a checkpoint of the regiment , as well as the first six tent-mobile shelters for 40 cars each and a checkpoint in the military unit’s park.

In 2022, construction will continue, according to the results of which, by the end of next year, three more soldiers’ dormitories and a completely park zone will be commissioned.

At the end of his work at the construction sites of the new regiment in Feodosia, the commander of the Airborne Forces expressed confidence that all work at the construction sites of the first stage will be completed on time.
